My 2 little friends...

I am so grateful for my little kids. I LOVE it when they play well together. They are each other's best friends, and I'm so grateful they have each other. If you notice, it is around 5:00 and Jackson is still in his pajamas, and Morgan has her clothes over her pajamas.... it was a lazy day. ;) Yesterday they were sitting on the couch together with Morgan in front with a "big ring" and Jackson was sitting behind her. She was driving him to the store. funny kids. I love hearing them laugh & play with each other... it always makes me smile. Enjoy! :)

What a Mess!!!!!

So today, Brian & I decided to relax when he got home from work. We watched "Office" episodes while the kids "played" or should I say "made a mess" downstairs. This is what I found when I went downstairs.

Exhibit A
Exhibit B
Brian told them to go and clean up their toys or he would throw them away... a common threat we use for our kids. However, somehow we are too nice, and the toys don't end up in the garbage. Morgan & Jackson would start cleaning, and then they would start playing again. So, it was mostly Brian and I cleaning up the mess. :) Looking at these pictures though, I'm grateful that I do have little people making little messes. :)
Exhibit C... oh wait, that's MY mess! I'm working on a little project. & I was sorting through all my ribbon... I'll post pictures later.
Thanks to Brian my kitchen is clean & beautiful! I LOVE having a clean kitchen. Thanks Brian, and he made peanut butter bars for a R.S. enrichment meeting tonight for me, and they were better than I have ever made them. He made the chocolate frosting too, and it was delicious!!!! (He's going to be gone this weekend, so he's trying to get bonus points :)

Meet my new "Soon to Be" Sister

Dum, dum, de, dum...dum, dum, de, dum.... Well here she is... Rachelle! Cameron met this amazing girl at a ward prayer when he moved to a different singles ward. They dated for a little bit, and as of tonight they are officially engaged!!!!! We are SOOOOO excited! I'm sure that any girl would be nervous to find out that the guy she wants to marry has 6 sisters and no brothers!!!! But, she fits right in with all of us! She is such a sweetheart & has such a fun personality! I have never seen Cameron happier! I love seeing both of them as happy as they are. They are such a cute couple and we are so excited to have her as part of our family & as our sister! We love you guys!

Happy Birthday Dad & Kaylie

My Dad & my youngest sister Kaylie share the same birthday (which was this past Sunday) We went over to their house and had an amazing dinner... Thanks Mom!
I am so grateful for my Dad. He is my hero! I have always looked up to him, and I admire him so much. I'm grateful for the way he & my mom raised me, and for the wonderful examples they set for me. I am grateful for their testimonies of the gospel & for how good they treat each other. I have learned so much from my Dad. I am so grateful that he is who he is, and all that he continues to teach me. I love you Dad!
Kaylie is 10 years younger than me, and she is so much fun! She is the peacemaker in our family, although, sometimes she teases her nieces & nephew just a little bit. :) Kaylie is so good to Morgan & Jackson & Hallie. She always takes care of them and paints Morgan's toenails. She always has such a postive outlook on life, and is a great example to me. I am so grateful she and Carly live close to me and that I can get to know them even better. I love you Kaylie!
Brian makes me laugh... the other night my mom put on a really fun party for Kaylie and her friends. They had a 50's theme & my parents made hamburgers and french fries. Then Kaylie and her friends had a hoola-hoop contest & a bubble blowing contest. Then after the games my parents set up a projector and they watched a movie in the backyard. We watched Gidget, and my other sister Brittany & I LOVED it!!! I wish Brian would sing to me the way Moon-Doggie sings to Gidget! Brian didn't want to watch Gidget with all of us, so instead he and Steven (my brother-in-law) watched "Legally Blonde"... the only kind of chick flick they can really tolerate! But don't worry.... we'll watch Gidget together soon... and maybe Brian will even sing to me. ;)

Kaylie's party was so much fun! My mom always has such creative & cute ideas. While the movie was playing my brother served rootbeer floats and popcorn. We had so much fun, and her friends seemed to really enjoy themselves. I see now how much time & effort my mom puts into everything she does. She's amazing!!!!!!

New Scrapbook Pages

Every week my kids pick a new movie they want to watch, or one they haven't seen for a while. This week it has been Strawberry Shortcake (thanks Ali), and they watch it everyday! While Strawberry Shortcake watches my kids for me, along with the characters from Highschool Musical (which they rotate during the week) I do digital scrapbooking. I love it because when they need me I just hit save and close the computer. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing when they start quoting parts of the movie. Today while riding in the car Jackson said to me, "Mom, say "when's the big game?" I said, "What, when's the big game?" and he replied as he held up 2 of his fingers "2 weeks!" which I guess is from Highschool Musical. Great... and they only watch it once a day! Funny kids. Well here is Morgan picking our growing fruits a "little" early. Luckily we still have 4 watermelon plants growing, and I think 1 cantelope. I couldn't get upset with her though because she was "helping" as she put it. :)
I know I already did pictures of our chocolates, but I just finished this page, and wanted to share. :)

Our Little Hallie Belle...

I did Hallie's 6 month pictures the other day, and they turned out adorable. Here are some of my favorites! I love the color in this picture. Her smiling eyes as Brian calls them, her red lips, and the pink flower. Don't you just want to pick her up and kiss those sweet cheeks.
Here's the picture with personality. Hallie is such a little tease. I love her big smile.
The whole reason I wanted to take these pictures was so I could capture her playing with her toes. I think 6 months is my favorite age because they can sit up, they start to eat solids, and they play with their toes, and try to get as much of their foot as possible in their mouths.
I LOVE this picture! I love her big smile and her happy eyes. She is such a fun and calm baby. We are so thankful she is a part of our family.

Swiss Chocolate... YUMMY!!!!!!

We got a fun surprise on our doorstep today. Josh & Janelle (Brian's sister) just came back home from Switzerland, and brought all of this chocolate for us. They were going south early this morning, and left it on our front porch.
Brian LOVES chocolate... I think he's a chocoaholic! Back in December when Josh & Janelle were visiting Brian let them borrow his jeep so they wouldn't have to rent a car, so they were so sweet and paid him back this way... with a huge box of chocolates. I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but after tasting pure swiss chocolate, I can't help myself. So, while Brian is at work today, I'm going to gather up all the chocolate, go and relax on my bed, watch a movie, and eat chocolate ALL DAY LONG! Because really that's all I ever do as a stay at home mom. :) Brian said that kids could have 2 pieces today. He probably should have given me a limit too... he might come home to nothing! :) The nice thing though, is since I can't read french or German, I can't tell how many calories are in each piece, so I may as well eat as many as I can while I don't know... right? :)
This was my favorite one they got for us. Isn't it nice! What a fun idea!
It looks like a picture frame with individual chocolate pictures. The swiss are so creative! Instead we get a nice brown hershey wrapper around our waxy chocolate. :)
There's the pot of gold! My mouth waters just looking at it. Can you tell we're just a little bit exicited. I wish there was a way you could all lick the screen and get a taste for yourself, but don't worry... it's really not that good... it's DIVINE! :)
