Even more of Fish Lake

Brian got to use Jayden's barbie fishing pole first... wasn't he lucky! :)
Say Cheese!
Someone had the idea to put the mattress in front of the bathroom door while Boyd was in there. I just helped, but it wasn't my idea. :)
My 2 fishermen! There was a little boy who had caught his own 2 fish, and he was so excited. I'm sure that's what Jackson will be like in a couple of years.. just like his daddy!

More of Fish Lake

We took the kids over to catch some perch. We caught so many, and then we would just let them swim back home. The kids loved it because we were catching them so fast, and they were able to hold the poles, and catch themselves.

Fish Lake continued

Here is a picture that Morgan took of the fish that she caught, or wait, did "mommy" catch this fish? We hadn't caught very much yet, and Morgan was getting bored until this fish got caught and Mommy helped Morgan reel in the fish, or was it Morgan that helped mommy? ;)
I love this picture. Brittany and I were kind of dressed a little funny, because neither one of us wanted to change into our jeans, so we wore socks with our shorts. I love hoe Morgan is looking at the fish making sure they don't get too close to her. ;)
As I was saying, doesn't Brittany look so cute in her shorts and black shoes? We had a good laugh about it all week. ;)
The 3 girls taking all the credit for fishing. :)

Fish Lake Vacation

Morgan loves to take pictures of anything with any camera. I was getting my camera
ready for Fish Lake, and she wanted to take this picture of me. It turned out kind of cute huh? No Not bad for a 3 year old taking the picture.

What a cutie!

Brian's family loves going to Fish Lake (2 1/2) hours away every summer. We always have such a fun time, but this year was my favorite. It was so fun that the kids were old enough to enjoy being on the boat. They loved it. We stayed in the nicest cabin with brian's parents, his brother and family, and the 3 little kids (Morgan, Jackson, and Jayden) we had so much fun.
Brian with the first fish. Jeff (his brother) had to work and wasn't able to get there until early Sat. morning, so Brian was extremely patient with Brittany and I as he had to bait our hooks with those nasty worms, and then once we had caught a fish, he had to get it off the hook for us as well. Okay, so we're a little girly, but at least we caught some. They were really nice rainbow trout, other than their beady eyes staring at us, and the way they would flop around in the boat. As Morgan would say, "Ewww yuck, that's sick!" I noticed that the more I would freak out, the more she would, so I toned it down a bit, and told her how cool the fish were, and she accepted it a little better. ;)

July 3rd... Jackson fell on the corner of our dresser and cut his head open. Poor little kid. He had to get 3 stiches. He actually handled it pretty well, and didn't cry too much.

Brian and Jackson's first father son camp out with our ward. The had so much fun. It was so fun for Brian to take Jackson, and that Jackson was old enough to go.
My little camping boy!

morgan and jackson loved painting with the water color paints!

4th of July-- we went to fireworks that night and got these glow in the dark rings from a guy who had tons of them he was just handing out. The kids LOVED them!

Jackson's 2nd Birthday. I got the balloons for the kids earlier that day at Macey's, and they were glued to their arms the entire day! Finally Daddy mysteriously popped Jackson's, and we told Morgan that hers needed to fly away. The only way she would give hers up was knowing that we were sending it to Jesus. I hope thats okay. ;) We had a pizza and movie party that night. I can't believe he's 2!
I didn't realize that when Morgan turned 3, the messes & curiosity would begin. I was taking a shower, and came out and saw that Jackson had white stuff all over him. Right then, Morgan walked into the room, and dropped another handful on him, and on the floor right after I asked her what she had. I then walked into the kitchen, and this is what I found. My mexican corn flour all over the floor. She took some pictures, and then had time out while I cleaned it up.

This is in our new bedroom where the tv goes. The kids thought it was so much fun hiding from mommy in here. ;)
