Morgan's Birthday

We tried to have Morgan take a picture of us , but it didn't quite work, so instead we did a
self portrait---how cute!
Morgan was soooo excited for her birthday cake! We sang Happy Birthday to her
& she couldn't wait to eat the cake. When we were done singing, she took a couple of pictures,
and then stuck her tongue in the cake followed by Jackson putting his fingers in. Don't worry, we gave them those pieces. ;)
Mom & Morgan
Here is all of Brian's family singing, except Grandma who was taking the picture, and Uncle Jeff who had to work. We all went out to dinner to Pizza Factory, and then came back to our house for cake and icecream and presents. It was such a fun day, but I am kind of glad they only come once a year. :)

Morgan's Birthday

Here is our cute little 3 year old! I can't believe that 3 years have gone past! We had such a fun day, and Morgan even got a little spoiled.
Brian, Jackson, & the bear at Hogle Zoo.
Morgan didn't want to get out of her stroller to take a picture with the lions, but Jackson was all for it.
I love this face. I think the ice cream was a little cold. ;)

Easter

Here are Jackson & Morgan on Easter Morning. Jackson has already taken a bite out of his chocolate bunny.
On Saturday, Jen & Jared were in town so we went to the city Easter Egg Hunt. I felt bad because Jared & Brian missed the hunt because they were parking the cars, and the races started early, but we did have fun throwing the eggs so the kids could go and get them again. Jackson had a blast. Morgan enjoyed it, but couldn't walk because of her leg, she did get a lot of eggs though.
Our little cousin - Madeline. What a cutie! She is alreay to find more easter eggs.
This was taken after the Hunt. You can tell Aliza enjoyed getting the eggs. What a cute picture of the Smith cousins.

Easter Sunday

Here we all are on Easter Sunday. We went over to the Nuttall's house, & ate an awesome ham dinner, & had an Easter Egg hunt. Karen even had a Easter egg hunt for the adults! We got loaded with candy!
Aren't these kids so cute in their Easter clothes!
Can you tell they have a lot of practice smiling for pictures? I love how cheesy they are in this picture.
Yep, after 5 years, we are still in LOVE...

Our new patio

This is how our new patio looks. Cool huh! I am finally beginning to see the "Vision" Brian laughs at me because he wonders how I can't see the vision when it is drawn on paper. I told him I am a visual person, and the more I see, the more I understand. :) Looks good huh!
Here is what our basement will look like... ladder included. :) Do you like the wall that is holding us up. It kind of scares me to think that if I opened our screen door I would fall out. :) hahhahahhaha
Oh wow, who is this stud? (The Wall or the Man?) Can you tell he is having fun? He is loving this! I love this picture because it shows how much fun he is having with his talents.
Wait, how did this cute picture get in here? I love this picture of the 2 of us. Aren't we so cute!

More Pictures of the Addition

Steven helping Brian
A look at our basement before they poured (?) the cement.
Steven & Brian hard at play, I mean work.
Okay, this picture was taken Wed or Thurs morning this week. Brian was so excited to take this picture, because all of these machines on the street were coming to our house. I hope that our neighbors don't mind too much.

Blue Frosting & Addition

So, at Brian's mission reunion, it was his mission pres. birthday, and they sent us home with these bright blue frosted cupcakes. (Our kids ate them for breakfast the next morning) Aren't I a great mom... loads of sugar for breakfast- that ought to give them some good energy for the day. :)
Doesn't that look like a fun yummy blue kiss... who could resist? ;)
Morgan seemed to enjoy it, but not nearly as much as Jackson, either that or maybe she is just a cleaner eater. :)
Back to the addition. During conference this last week Brian worked on the yard. Our brother in law Steven told me inside that he knew how to run both machines, and would love to go and help Brian. So while Brittany and I watched the littles, the boys "worked" (we think PLAYED) in the back yard. We did tape conference though, and watched some later. With Steven helping they were able to get a lot done, and Brian was able to finish right on time for the machines to get back.
