Congratulations Graduates!!!!

Brian & I are so happy for these 3 graduates! I think they had to work a little bit harder, or actually a lot harder than Morgan did for her graduation. :) My sister Carly graduated first on May 28th from Highschool & is an official highschool graduate. She is planning on going to college in the Fall, and we are so happy for her. Karen (Brian's mom) graduated with her Bachelors & will continue to be a nurse and then will go to more school in January to get her Masters so she can teach Nursing, which she will be WONDERFUL at! We are so proud of her! I was trying to get a nice picture of her and some weird man was in the background, so I had her move and got a picture of some other weird man in the picture instead. I would rather have my brother-in-law in the background anyway though. :) The graduation was really nice, and there were some really neat people there. At one point I had a concerned look on my face because there was a girl sitting in front of me who had a "french tickler ring" on under her lip, and then it moved to the side of her lip. I was trying to figure out how this was possible, and still never could, Brian said maybe it was a magnet, but then I was wondering how she kept from swallowing it, and my mind kept going... the things you think about at a graduation. :) We are so happy for Karen! Last, but not least, is my Dad who just finished his dissertation (sp?) I'm not really sure if I spelled that right, or even what it means, all I know is that he has worked MAJORLY hard on finishing it... which ended up being a HUGE book for people to read when they're looking for something really exciting. :) And that he is glad or should I say THRILLED to be done! He will graduate in Lincoln Nebraska in August & we are so excited for him to be done. He has been such a great example of hard work, determination, dedication, faith, & hope as he as worked so hard to accomplish this. My Dad's next plan is to write another book which I'm sure will be WONDERFUL since it's about ME! :) Actually I think it's about the gospel... maybe next time. ;) Anyway, I think we will start calling him Dr. Dad- for his wisdom... kind of like Dr. Phil... although we LOVE my Dad & his wisdom. :)
Congratultions you 3 to your great accomplishment! We are so proud of you & admire you all in so many ways!

Great gift idea!

I can't take credit for this because it wasn't my idea, but when I went to the BYU women's education week I saw this idea and thought it was great! So girls, here is a good & easy idea for father's day.
First you get balloons & blow them up a little (as shown in exhibit A) and then dip it in dipping chocolate. I covered it with leftover chocolate with a spoon to make it thicker which worked a lot better.
Put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes until it hardens and then pop the balloon. Then slowly peel away the balloon from the chocolate.
Wa-la... you now have a chocolate bowl that you can put whatever you want inside. I put strawberries & rasberries, but I think for Father's day I will do Brian's favorite mini candybars. Enjoy! (brian got a early one the other day after work and he LOVED it) :)

Draper Temple with Brianna

On Saturday my sister Brianna recieved her endowments in the new Draper Temple. She was beautiful & the temple was so wonderful & gorgeous! Brian & I were able to do a temple session with my parents, our brothers and sisters, 2 aunts, and both sets of my grandparents. It was such a neat experience, especially as we were all in the celestial room. I am so grateful for such good parents and grandparents who have taught me about the importance of the gospel and the temple. I am so grateful that families can be together forever. I look forward to the day when Carly & Kaylie will go through the temple, and our famiy can all be together in the Celestial room. Brian & I loved being in there and feeling the sweet spirit, and also remembering being in there with our kids not too long ago for the open house. I am excited for when that day will happen again. The temple was so nice & we were so happy we could share in that special experience with Brianna.
Brianna leaves on July 8th to go to Texas!
My sweet Grandparents. ( I forgot to get a picture with my mom's parents)
I am so grateful for all 4 of them.
Me & my sweetheart. :) We had such a nice day together & the kids had fun with their babysitters.

Nuttall Style Camping

Brian had promised the kids that he would sleep with them in the backyard and have a campout in our tent. They were so excited & helped bring out their blankets & sleeping bags. Daddy even brought out the T.V. so we could watch a movie. Hallie went to bed early because she was a distraction during the movie. :) The plan was that I would sleep inside in a nice warm, soft bed with Hallie, while Brian slept outside with the kids. When the movie was over around 10:30 I told Brian I couldn't breath because it was so stuffy. He said he couldn't breath either because of his allergies, so what did we do? We moved the big tent into our living room & slept in there. It was nice & cool & the kids were happy because they got to sleep in a tent. :)

Cute boy ready for the night
Hallie loved walking around in the tent, but would not hold still at all for the movie unless she was eating cookies. ;)
I love Jackson's personality.

If the kids did the shopping...

This morning we had this nice conversation
Jackson (yelling): "Mom! Come and see what we need to get!"
Me: (we've had ants, so I was thinking he was thinking ant spray because there was probably a big trail of them again) What?
Jackson: This! (as he points to the Pink & White circus cookies in the grocery ad) and this! (a nice kids swimming pool... also in the ad)
Me: Jackson, I don't think we NEED those things.
Jackson: Yes we do!
Morgan: Here, let's get a pen so we can circle all the things we "NEED"
Jackson: (thinking... wow what a great idea!) Yeah, we need this (as he points to flip flops)
Morgan: starts circling different items that she and Jackson "need" and says "Oh, look doughnuts! We need those!
So after there little shopping spree... thank goodness it was only the ad, and not the store, this is what they decided we needed...
Circus animal cookies, crackers, doughnuts, flip flops, a baby swimming pool, and a kids swimming pool- I guess so they don't have to swim with Hallie. ;)
This was only the insert... good thing they didn't even get a look at the rest of the ad. ;)

My Birthday...27!

My birthday was so nice this year. We came home on Sat. night from St George and then spent Sunday relaxing and spending time with family. One of my sweet friends new that I wanted to get a Children's songbook for the piano, so she went and had all of the primary kids sign it and then gave it to me in Primary. It was so sweet and meant so much to me. Brian was such a sweetheart and treated me like a queen all day. He made breakfast for me and got the kids all ready & let me sleep in. It was so nice and relaxing. So here is to one more year. I feel that I have been 27 for the last year. Now I'm just a little more mature right? :) I have been looking forward to my 30's but yesterday as I got thinking about it, I'm glad that I still have 3 more years in my 20s. Yay! The weird thing is that Carrie Underwood and I are the same age and yet our lives our so completely different. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love my life & am so grateful for my kids & Brian. They mean everything to me!
Hallie was kind of done for the day, and Morgan kept blinking because it was so bright. ;)
My handsome little man.
My cute little girl. I almost had a melt down as I went shopping with her in St. George. We went to Children's place and I went to the little kids section where I usually find clothes for her. I then realized that they only go to size 4. I found clothes for her and they were all with the 'big girl' clothes. I almost started crying right then... my little girl is growing up and is wearing the older girl clothes. She is such a cutie, and I'm glad she is still little.

Our Weekend in St. George

We had planned on going to St. George in March before all the Spring breaks, but it was raining so we changed it to this past weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had such a nice time. This is backwards from our vacation and is really long, but I'm hoping to one day make a book from my blog, so it's kind of like my journal. Anyway... on to our vacation
This is a water park that was so much fun and was free! We stayed for almost 2 hours and had such a fun time! As you'll see in another post Morgan is showing off her flip flops again. :)
Doesn't Jackson look like he is getting so strong! Look at those muscles! He has been so proud of them lately, and eats a lot so they will get bigger like Daddy's. The other day he said to Brian, "Wow, Dad! You're muscles are HUGE!"
Our little cheeser. She was so funny on this trip. She didn't want to walk in the water until we put her flip flops on and then she was so busy walking around and exploring everything. She kept putting on everyones shoes and as soon as we got back from swimming she wanted her shoes on again. Brian thinks her husband will be in trouble if she likes shoes this much now. ;)
Jackson loved running through the fountain. He was so much fun to watch.
