Our Trip to Cancun

Here we are in Cancun! This is on the 3rd day we were there, and we were at the market place shopping. My dad noticed this sign that said my name. Cool huh!
OOOPPPS-- yes, I had my first drink. Not on purpose of course ;) at the resort that we stayed at, we were able to order any kind of drink. I would usually order a strawberry daquiri without alcohol. By the 4th day, I just figured that they knew I didn't drink. Well, I ordered a strawberry daquiri and pineapple juice, and the guy brought them to me. I drank some of the pineapple juice, but it tasted kind of weird, so I just kept drinking the strawberry daquiri not realizing there was alcohol in it. I thought it tasted a little different, but at the resort there were 5 places you could order drinks from, and they had all been made a little different, so I just figured that this was just made a little different like the rest of them. It wasn't until my dad came and sat down, and I looked over at his drink which was a strawberry daquiri, and I noticed that his was a nice juicy cherry red color, mine was more on the pink side. Then I realized, that I hadn't said no alcohol. I told Brian, and he took a sip, and told me he thought it was alcohol, we told my dad and he also took a sip and couldn't believe that I had sipped half of the glass. My aunt came and took a sip, and told us there was definatly alcohol in it. ooops. luckily there were no side effects ;) and I don't plan on ever drinking again. ;)
Here is my cute honey and I in the center of the market place. we had so much fun shopping and bardering for items.
Brian was hungry and really wanted a tamale. He ordered a corn tamale from this street vendor at the market. It tasted like sweet corn smashed all together-pretty good.

Random Pictures of our Family

I found this little bed for Jackson at a garage sale last
Saturday for only $10.00. The kids love it!

Brian works so hard on our addition! Here he is
laying down our new floor. It looks awesome!
Happy 25th Birthday Melissa! The other little
girl is my niece Jayden-aren't they all cute!

Even though they get into trouble, they are
the best of friends, and loved matching today.

Desitin Kids

CAUGHT in the act of being naughty & curious at the same time! Since Brian and I are out of our room because of the addition, we have moved into Jackson's room, and Jackson has moved into Morgan's room. Jackson is still in the crib, and Morgan is in her toddler bed, and as you can see is able to get both of them in trouble. I had a tube of Desitin diaper cream in the drawer of the changing table. Morgan climbed up on the night stand, then the changing table, and then found the creamy treasure in the drawer, and decided that it was lotion, and that she wanted to share some with Jackson. I was watching TV and I heard it really quiet, so I figured they had fallen asleep, then I heard giggling, and then quiet again. I thought... they must be up to something, and sure enough when I walked in this is what I saw. Poor Jackson- I think he had fun, but he kind of looked like a little albino baby, and even had a huge clump of desitin in his hair. Well, Brian and I tried not to laugh, took pictures, & cleaned up the kids. While Brian was cleaning up Jackson, I said to Morgan, was that a good choice? She said "No, it was a naughty choice!" With that response she had her little time out, and then they finally fell asleep. Wow- every since she turned 3, she has been very curious, especially if it involves making messes. ;)

Pretty Make Up Huh?!

Well, well, well, what do we have here. ;) I was cleaning up the bathroom, and threw an
old mascara thing away. The phone rang, and need I say anymore? Morgan found the
fun toy in the garbage, and decided to be like mommy. I think she needs a little practice.

At least she had a little bit of fun with it- right?!

Our Dress Up Party

Last Saturday night all of the Nuttall family came over to our house after dinner at Prestwich Farms here in Spanish Fork. Brittany and I were just talking, and I have no idea why, but we decided to be goofy and start dressing up with Morgan's princess stuff. We were laughing so hard and were excited to show the guys our cool new style. Brian and Jeff walked in the room, and I don't think they were expecting what they saw. It was so funny! We talked Janelle into dressing up with us too, and then we went and modeled for the kids. Morgan thought it was pretty cool, and Jackson and Jayden just thought we were crazy.
What cute little kids.

Morgan's Birthday

We tried to have Morgan take a picture of us , but it didn't quite work, so instead we did a
self portrait---how cute!
Morgan was soooo excited for her birthday cake! We sang Happy Birthday to her
& she couldn't wait to eat the cake. When we were done singing, she took a couple of pictures,
and then stuck her tongue in the cake followed by Jackson putting his fingers in. Don't worry, we gave them those pieces. ;)
Mom & Morgan
Here is all of Brian's family singing, except Grandma who was taking the picture, and Uncle Jeff who had to work. We all went out to dinner to Pizza Factory, and then came back to our house for cake and icecream and presents. It was such a fun day, but I am kind of glad they only come once a year. :)

Morgan's Birthday

Here is our cute little 3 year old! I can't believe that 3 years have gone past! We had such a fun day, and Morgan even got a little spoiled.
Brian, Jackson, & the bear at Hogle Zoo.
Morgan didn't want to get out of her stroller to take a picture with the lions, but Jackson was all for it.
I love this face. I think the ice cream was a little cold. ;)
